Barris Kustoms Snake Pit was a two seater,a wrap around
windshield,six engines, fourty-eight header pipes,twelve four
barrel carbureters,twelve velocity stacks,six Good Years tires
super large,six super large Craigar SS Diamond Five Spoke
Mags.Everything under the body,was done by Barris Kustoms.
Joe Bailon was responsible for the fork tung custom nose
body with two pointed grills in fork tung area.The middle of the
body has two long bonnet hoods,with two pointed scoops,two
prop up hinges,six Ford Cobra engines,twelve ribbed valve
covers.The flared fenders,a signature feature of Joe Bailon's
award winning 1960 Cadillac custom pickup truck,with the
same Craigar SS Diamond Five Spoke Mags.The two tan
custom tall buckets seats, stand high over the custom wrap
around windshield. Joe'Candy Apple Red' Bailon paint was
used both on Miss Elegance with gauges like a airplane,and a
'57 Buick Candy Wagon done in this color.Also a famous 1951
Mercury was done in Candy Red.
Joe Bailon dropped gold toner in Maroon paint accidently,
blending together,causing Candy Apple Red in 1951.

Kustomizers,and has been doing still at 90 years old.He designed,
built and painted,famous cars:Reactor the lime gold,emerald
Kitty Kar, for Cat Woman,Eartha Kitt,used in Batman.Also
Strip Star,The famous asyemmetrical,higher wrap around wind-
shield ,with a box type top,that pivots down over the drivers side.
A wrap around windshield,that is on the passengers side.This is
Strip Star,that is pearl tangaine,Ford Cobra 289 CID,four five
spokes mags he designed.It originally had four long knock off,
three prong caps.The fenders,look the same,accept,a section is
cut out on right side with a custom grill,that matches,the middle
grill.The left side as two different lights: rectangular and round
light, floating headlight design.Gene has built many lead sleads,

While the Barris Kustoms sign says 1971 Record Holder,it
was never used on the Salt Flats in Utah,for making speed
records.It also wasn't used in a movies,like Barris Kustoms
Vox Mobile.Both vehicles were never used for the original
purpose.But boy,that would be great at a car show.I would
like to drag with it,down the dragstrip,and see how fast it
would go,even though,it would mean,rebuilding the engines,
and also checking out the whole car,suspension,since it
plays havoc with the car.This happens driving a car at high
speeds.
